| Science and technology plays an important role in national prosperity and flourish.In recent years,the state has promulgated policies to promote scientific and technological innovation,enhance the spread of scientific knowledge and citizen scientific literacy.At the same time,people also want to know the information about science and technology,to understand the technology trends.The media is the main channel for the public to obtain scientific and technological information,and the media reports about scientific and technological information has constructed the audience's cognitive perspective and value judgment of the current technology development.Xinhuanet that supplies comprehensive news and information is hosted by the Xinhua News Agency,the state news agency,which has the advantages of resources and channels as well as profound influence in reporting science and technology news.Special reports of tech news report scientific and technological achievements,policy,and accomplishment in detail,using a variety of forms,and help the audience to build news pictures.This paper uses special reports of science and technology news on Xinhuanet as the research object,selects special report in even month from 2016 to 2017 as the sample size,according to the frame theory from the perspective of macro,medium and micro three levels.The paper analyzed the feature and tendency in special report of tech news on Xinhuanet,and researches the reasons and problems behind the feature and tendency,then offer proposals to improve reports.The study found that the special report on science and technology news of Xinhuanet can plan relevant technical achievements timely,stick to the national policy about science and technology and focus on scientific and technological achievements.The news frame has obvious tendency to emphasize policy orientation and the breakthrough of scientific and technological achievements,and pay attention to the scientific nature of news.At the same time,the special report of science and technology news of Xinhuanet also has deficiency.In the aspect of journalistic professionalism,the scientific terms aren't explained clearly and many message sources are anonymous.Lacking of attention in the public interest,the science and technology news of company might have product placement;in the aspect of humanism,the interaction with the audience is weak,and there are few topics of science and technology news close to the common people's interests.Therefore,the special report on the science and technology news of Xinhuanet should strengthen the interpretation of the technical terms,clarify the source of the information to enhance the journalism professionalism;report science and technology news of enterprise objectively to enhance public interest;and strengthen the interaction with audience,focus on the vital interests of the audience and promote the humanistic spirit of the report. |
