Research About The Different Frame Construction In Internet Special Subject Report Between Xinhua Net And Ifeng Net

In recent years, the Internet special subject report works as an effective way to integrate information. It makes use of words, pictures and videos to give full coverage of a specific topic, to maximize the value of the news. Because of the characteristic of Internet special subject report, it has been widely and frequently used in network news report, especially in significant news events and emergency accidents reporting.For different websites, regarding the same subject, they will be diversified in coverage ways and contents. These differences are caused by the various media properties; it also shows different values and editorial policy of the media. Based on the frame theory, this paper uses the methods of content analysis and comparison to do the research. Selecting two websites——the Ifeng net and the Xinhua net as the object of study, which are both official websites of professional media. Considering of the website’s own characteristics, using case analysis to search the methods of framework construction in special subject report, and analyzing the text frames by comparing the different dissemination policy they use during significant news report to guide the public opinion.This paper analyzes the network construction from its content to its effect, through studying the topics editing, the texts and the dissemination policy during the whole spreading process. Therefore I obtain that the differences between the Xinhua net and the Ifeng net are mainly expressed in both macro level and micro level. It follows that the three major elements which are the media properties, editing policy and target-audiences, that impacting framework construction and analyzed how they work in information selecting and integration.
