According to the Golden West survey,the sociologist Li Yinhe estimated that homosexuals account for about three to four percent of China's total population,although the population is small,the total number can not be ignored.However,for a long time,homosexuality can only exist as a social marginalized group.With the acceleration of globalization and changes in the social atmosphere,some gay and lesbian groups at home and abroad have called for social attention and respect for homosexuality through demonstrations,and expressed their strong desire for rights.This has not only received the support of the people,but has also aroused the nation's Social attention.Under such a realistic background,the media has become increasingly concerned about homosexual groups and related reports have increased.The media coverage of homosexuality has also become necessary.so based on the framework theory,content Analysis of 295 Effective Gay News Reports of Phoenix Online from2015 to 2017,and focuses on the framework features and trends of recent homosexuality coverage of the Phoenix.com website to find out the features and shortcomings of the homosexuality coverage.Whether to obey the objectivity and impartiality of reporting principles when reporting,whether there is a stereotype for this group.The findings show that the phoenix's gay news coverage is generally objective and fair.It has not deliberately vilified the homosexual community and gradually got rid of the stereotyped "stigmatization" toward the objective.However,there are also issues such as bias in reporting issues,unbalanced sources of information,and lack of profound issues in the field of homosexual medicine.Finally combines the results of journalism actively put forward reasonable suggestions.
