The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology(ICT),such as mobile internet,cloud computing,big data and Logistics-net,etc,has brought us into a “Internet Plus” era.In this era,new types of products and services,new commercial models and business forms are constantly catalyzed because of the typical characteristics of "cross-border integration and connection of all",the powerful force of "Innovation driven and reshaping the structure".Therefore,the publishing industry faces new opportunities and challenges.A Press is a medium-sized publishing house with an annual sales tax of about RMB 40 million.Like most middle-and-small-sized presses,A Press faces some difficulties in development,such as the lack of funds,resources and talents.Besides,it has its own unique resource endowment and development characteristics.What's more,it is facing a series of challenges brought by “internet plus”.In the recent 10 years,the press has been constantly making reforms and innovations,and has made some achievement with the “Three-steps “group development strategy.However,in the context of the Internet plus,the strategy has taken on weakstamina weakness and insufficient embarrassment,exposing a series of problems.Therefore,it is urgent to reposition and transform the strategy.This paper attempts to use interdisciplinary research method,literature analysis,case study,survey research and other research methods,through the strategic transformation theory,theory of cultural industry,"Internet plus" era of the publishing industry characteristics of the theory and practice of inquiry,Taking A Press as a case study,the paper will truthfully show its development situation,current strategy and implementation effect,and after making a thorough analysis of the internal and external environment of A Press in the context of the Internet plus,we actively explore into three paths for the strategic transformation of A Press: The characteristics of the development strategy of college,fine,special and new "group development strategy,connotation of fission or expansion,the integration of digital and networked development strategy.Based on the comparative analysis of the three paths of strategic transformation,draw the conclusion: A press the direction of the strategic transformation is to build a modern publishing media group to highlight the main industry,high quality and diverse;the focus is to improve the quality of products and services;strategic transformation is the transformation from extensive to intensive,from single to multiple publishers publishing culture as the core of the service business transformation,from the traditional book publishing industry to the transformation and integration of new publishing.The main value of this paper is to enrich and develop the theory of publishing competitiveness,publishing ecology;intended for A press transformation strategy research and decision making,but also to provide information for the strategic transformation of A Press,and to provide theoretical basis and empirical reference for the strategic transformation of our country's middle-and-small-sized presses in the context of the Internet plus.
