With the improvement of people's living standard,people pay more and more attention to the acquisition of multimedia information and the demand of video surveillance for security.However,the traditional video acquisition and surveillance system is mainly mounted on the PC platform,the information collection and release are separated,which has caused many problems,such as large volume,high cost and inconvenience to users.With the rapid development of network and terminal technology in recent years,intelligent set-top box has been widely used in thousands of households,it plays an increasingly important role in the rapid spread of information and smart home applications.Therefore,making full use of software and hardware resources of the intelligent set-top box,designing an information collection and release system that can link intelligent terminal to mobile devices and Internet,which not only can effectively solve the problems of traditional equipment,but also has a broad market prospect and application value.The thesis takes the audio and video surveillance as the basic project objectives,combines with the streaming media transmission and Android application development technology,designs an information collection and release terminal system equipped with Android intelligent set-top box,realizes the collection,processing,transmission and release of multimedia and equipment.Specifically includes the following tasks.1.Collects,compresses,codes and synchronizes the audio and video data,and designs a unified data format to describe the message data,thus implements the functions of data processing module.2.Adopts the streaming media technology to build the streaming media server,encapsulates the streaming media data into RTP package,and transmits through RTSP,thus implements the functions of the streaming media transmission module.3.Inherits and develops Android native widgets,designs the display interface and control interface,thus implements the functions of the display terminal design module.4.Adopts approaches such as the JNI,Message,Broadcast,Socket,and FTP to communicate,and designs the local communication and network communication for the system,thus implements the functions of communication interaction module.5.Tests and verifies the functions of the whole system and each module.The actual test results show that the function of designed modules are normal.The system can realize the real-time audio and video recording,fault detection and report,playback audio,video data and safety data,has characteristics such as convenient operation,good interaction,easy maintenance and so on,and achieves the desired goals.In the design work,the intelligent set-top box is used as the platform,and the information collection and real-time surveillance function is added on the basis of the TV viewing function of the set-top box.It can not only reduce the cost of hardware and software,but also enrich the terminal function,and the cost is low and easy to be popularized.Therefore,it has practical significance and reference value.
