A Study Of Chinese Science News Reports In View Of New Media

Since science and technology(sci-tech for short)has become a durable and formidable impetus to drive social development,science news is admittedly accepted as an important means of promoting scientific and technological communication as well as enhancing people's scientific and technological literary.As a lookout,science news has been standing at the forefront of sci-tech throughout the transformation from traditional media age to new media age.The boom of technologies,internet,artificial intelligence,virtual reality and the like leads to a new trend for scientific and technological development;while entrepreneurial tide themed as "Internet Plus" facilitates the close integration of sci-tech,traditional industries and people's daily routine.In this condition,brand new resources have been provided to science news.Currently,technological innovation alters the media environment while scientific and technological progress expedites the industry-wide changes.As a result,science news also changes.New media in the field of sci-tech which were born and grew up in Internet era without any traditional background gradually take up a more dominating position.Their form and content of reporting violently strike the pattern built in traditional media age.This paper attempts to discuss the evolution,status quo and future trend of Chinese science news from the perspective of transformation of science news in new media age.This paper first offers a literature review of Chinese science news report by unifying the historical background.Holistically and diachronically,evolution of science news as well as related key concepts is discussed.Subsequently,great changes taking place in reporting carrier,news production modes and reporting content of science news in new media age are explored.In the case study in common framework,36 Kr is selected as a research object in which characteristics and highlights of news reports are concluded through quantitative research.After that,problems and their causes of current science news reports are analyzed;and possible solutions are put forward correspondingly.Finally,regularity of future development trend is predicted on the basis of the current situation.
