The problem of wireless sensor networks with limited energy attracts more and more attention of scholars.It is the hierarchical strategy adopted in the hierarchical routing protocol that is used to reduce node energy consumption.As the large load consumes energy of those nodes quickly,the hierarchical strategy might result in a dead zone of sensor nodes which are close to the base station and a energy hole in the network.How to balance the node energy consumption and delay energy holes generation is the key to prolonging the life cycle of wireless sensor network.The main tasks were as follow:(1)Concentrated on analyzing the topology control protocol of wireless sensor network,this thesis has devoted to studying the LEACH protocol,a typical hierarchical routing protocol,and its improved algorithms.Based on the concept of potential field in physics,the wireless sensor network is stimulated as the potential field model,and according to the potential difference between nodes,multiple hops routing structures between clusters are built to finish the data transmission.(2)The thesis has proposed the clustering protocol based on energy potential field LEACH-PF.In the process of building a cluster,the network area is divided into several divisions based on d0 and the energy consumption of the transmission in a cluster is under control.A routing tree is built between clusters based on potential difference.LEACH-PF prolongs the lifetime of network nodes.(3)In order to solve the energy hole problem of hierarchical routing protocol,the thesis proposed the clustering protocol EEPF.It optimizes the number of clusters by network area division,builds a multiple hops routing structures between clusters to finish the data transmission and delay the appear of energy holes.This thesis has also made experimental simulations to the LEACH-PF and EEPF.There are some findings in this thesis.Compared with the hierarchical routing protocol which is represented by LEACH,the LEACH-PF and EEPF can effectively reduce the network energy consumption that makes the life time(or the number of sheaves)of network increase three times than LEACH.They can balance the node energy consumption,prevent node energy of some regions from being overly consumed and postpone the appearance of energy hole.Besides,it can monitor the target for a longer time in practical application and cost less in the network deployment than the traditional ways.
