Wireless sensor networks (WSNs), which is reported as one of the most influent-ial technologies in the 21st century, will take great impact on human future life. Along with the growing up of related technology, wireless sensor network has been deploy-yed in a good many of application domains, and shows its grate potential. But, Wirel-less sensor network is an ad hoc network with limited resources, wireless mulit-hop transmitting and unreliable nodes. How to realize an effective, scalable and robust network is a great challenge faced to WSNs researchers. There are many studies of wireless sensor networks, and this thesis made some useful attempts only from the energy balance and quality of service network, the main works are reflected in the following two aspects:1) Recent studies show that wireless sensor networks exists an energy imbalance phenomenon. In nodes uniformly distributed network model, when the network at the end of life, there are more than 90%of initial energy is not being used. The reason is that some nodes in the network as the excessive role of forwarding nodes, which led to their excessive energy consumption, and ultimate dead of these nodes, Finally gave rise to the so-called "energy hole". In order to avoid "energy holes" phenomenon, propose a network nodes non-uniform deployment strategy in this paper. Through the establishment of circuit analysis models and theoretical Compute, Found that when the number of nodes in the inneriandi-1 according to a certain geometric progression q (q> 1) increased deployment, Energy consumption to achieve approximate balance, And in the conclusion, proposed q-Switch routing algorithm. Experimental results show that the non-uniform deployment strategy can achieve better balance of energy consumption, and avoid energy holes phenomenon.2) With the depth of wireless sensor network applications, quality of service has also made its challenges. Combination of sensor node's geographical location information and energy consumption model analysis of network transmission path, propose a QoS routing algorithm for wireless sensor networks, will control the forward nodes sequence of multi-hop transmission path in the source node and sink node connection area, try to fit the source node and sink node connection transmission, and effective control the transmission path. In addition, proposed to improve the QoS routing algorithm, the forward nodes can be dynamical adjust the size of transmission path area based on the current real-time QoS constraints and optimize the next hop selection mechanism, so that the routing path to maximize fitting the straight line between source node and sink node to achieve the purpose of optimal the path transmission energy consumption. Simulation experiments show that the QoS routing algorithm for wireless sensor networks to achieve the network QoS constraints, saving the network energy consumption and prolong the network life.
