In different times,based on different disciplines,many researchers have studied "freedom ".The existing research on "freedom" is mainly based on the perspective of adults,lack of children's perspective related research.Discussing freedom from the perspective of children has unique significance and value.In this study,children aged 5-6 years were investigated by means of mosaic method,trying to present children's understanding of freedom,by collating interviews of children aged 5-6 years and children's paintings and photographs.Combined with the observation of researchers,this study presents the current situation of large class children's understanding of freedom,including: the concept of freedom,the type of freedom,the power of freedom,the value of freedom,the feeling and experience of freedom,the place of freedom.The study found that young children can use their own language to express the concept of "freedom ",the understanding and understanding of rights,but also through the language of children,paintings and photographs,the type of freedom,price Values,feelings and experiences of freedom,and places of freedom have unique expressions.Further analysis found that children between the ages of 5 and 6 have a common understanding of "freedom ".The characteristics of children's understanding of "freedom" are mainly influenced by children themselves,kindergarten,teachers,parents,society and so on.This study also believes that in general,young children have a strong internal appeal for freedom,there is a tendency to "absolute" understanding of "freedom ",there is a lack of real understanding of the boundaries of " freedom ",and the ability to identify "freedom" is in the development period.Combined with children's understanding of freedom and the current situation of children's freedom in kindergarten,this study discusses and reflects accordingly.
