In recent years,there has been more and more research on the perspective of children,which seems to be the researchers to judge children's preferences through tools such as observation and interview.But this subjective,adult discourse system does not represent what children really think.As researchers supporting children's development,we need to be more authentic views of children.As a participatory tool,mosaic approach promotes children to use the method to present their own ideas and make up for the shortcomings brought by traditional methods.At the same time,kindergarten regional environment is an important place for children's play and learning.A good and suitable regional environment can promote children's cognitive and social development.Based on the position of children as the master of environment creation,we need to adopt more children's perspective to create a suitable regional environment for children.From the perspective of children,weinvited a kindergarten in West Lake District,Hangzhou to practice the mosaic approach in optimizing the class regional environment.Children from junior classis selected as researchobject.As we all know,itishard to findthe needs of junior class children,they are also limited by language expression ability,and can't express their wishes completely.So junior class children need a powerful tool to help them express their views and needs on the class regional environment.In the process of research,when finding certain problems existing in the class area environment,the author adopted the mosaic approach.Children use participatory tools(taking pictures,travel,drawing,interview),to collect pictures,travel,drawing and interview mosaic information.After extracting information on these children's perspectives,the complete mosaic information of the children for the intelligence building area was generated.Through the analysis of children's view: regional materials,the people who stay in the intelligence building area,some game factors,which affected children‘s participation,such as strong situation,low structure,high novelty regional material;rich material,bright color,security regional space;teachers,companions,their own participation,allow a variety of game regional rules ……Those kinds of factors affected children create the regional environment of kindergarten class.According to the shortcomings of the current regional environment,the author discussed the environmental adjustment strategy with children,and adjusted the intelligence building area through the way of retention,expansion and replacement.At the end of the study shows the results of this research.The practice of mosaic approach has changed the main body of regional environment creation,from teacher leading to child leading,stimulated children's interest in participating in regional environment creation,and also broadened the way that teachers collect children's perspective information,promoted the professional growth of teachers.The full text showed the processes of finding problems,collecting mosaic information,extracting information and generating mosaics,fully presents the process of teachers when using the mosaic approach to optimize the class regional environment,in order to provide some reference for front-line teachers to create the class regional environment.
