Middle-aged teachers in colleges and universities are the backbone of promoting higher education.They not only shoulder heavy teaching tasks,but also need to face more scientific research pressure.At the same time,the management of students also needs their guidance.But because of the particularity of middle-aged teachers' work in colleges and universities,encouraging them to not only need to undertake good old teachers' teaching and scientific research tasks,but also need to do a good job in mentoring to help young teachers to overcome difficulties and survive,this leads to stress,middle-aged teachers in colleges and universities are in a long time in the face of the pressure,many teachers have no good mood strategies,can form the working state of the emotional labor,psychological resource depletion.Over time,excessive work pressure is accompanied by emotional labor state,which eventually leads to job burnout.In addition,the middle-aged teachers in colleges and universities will also face the heavy pressure of family and society,the burden of taking care of the family,and the high expectations of the society for teachers in colleges and universities have become important factors restricting the behavior of middle-aged teachers in colleges and universities.In addition,due to the insufficient organizational support provided by colleges and universities,middle-aged teachers in colleges and universities are prone to emotional exhaustion,deindividuation and excessively low degree of personal achievement,resulting in fatigue,irritability,irritability and other emotional problems.These problems will not only affect the physical health of college teachers,but also cause a great loss of their psychological resources.As an important role in the high-quality development of colleges and universities,middle-aged teachers in colleges and universities have very important research significance.In order to study the influence mechanism of job stress on job burnout,this paper used literature research method to sort out and analyze related literatures of job stress,emotional labor,job burnout and sense of organizational support at home and abroad,and built the research model of this paper on the basis of self-determination theory and resource conservation theory.The questionnaire survey was conducted on 310middle-aged teachers in colleges and universities.On the basis that the reliability and validity of the questionnaires met the standards,the empirical study was used to conduct correlation analysis and regression analysis on the relationships among variables,so as to verify the hypotheses proposed in this study.Finally,the research conclusions of this paper are drawn :(1)job stress has a significant positive effect on job burnout;(2)work stress has a significant positive impact on emotional labor;(3)emotional labor has a significant positive impact on job burnout;(4)emotional labor plays an intermediary role between job stress and job burnout;(5)sense of organizational support plays a regulating role between job stress and job burnout.Based on the above analysis,in order to better reduce the work pressure of college teachers and thus reduce their job burnout level,this study puts forward Suggestions on job burnout from three aspects: relieving work pressure,regulating emotional labor and strengthening organizational support.
