Counselors are important organizers and instructors of ideological and moral education of college students,and guides the healthy growth of college students.They are a special group in colleges and universities,and they are also responsible for daily management and ideological education of students.The level of counselors' professional ability is directly related to the cultivation of a large number of high-quality applied technical talents,the growth and development of students and the harmony and stability of the school.Is different from universities instructors by private applied undergraduate colledge,counselor no stable by private applied undergraduate colledge,working strength is big,long working hours,working object is more complicated,which requires the counselors by private applied undergraduate colledge to raise their professional quality,attach importance to practical ability,can take on task students to by private applied undergraduate colledge.This paper,taking shijiazhuang three as the research object,by private applied undergraduate colledge instructors,200,characteristics of the counselors team work,ideological and political education,the party construction,academic guidance ability,mental health counseling skills,crisis response capacity,career planning and employment guidance ability after investigation found that university counselors are professional ability by private applied undergraduate colledge propaganda ability to enhance the ideological and political theory,post identity is low,job burnout,lack of professional ability to ascend guarantee mechanism and so on.The reasons for the low vocational ability of counselors in private application-oriented undergraduate colleges can be summarized into three aspects.From the perspective of the government,the admission and withdrawal mechanism of counselors in private application-oriented undergraduate colleges needs to be improved,the professional training institutions for counselors are insufficient,and the social recognition degree of counselors is low.From the perspective of the school's management of counselors,the school does not pay enough attention to the improvement of counselors' professional ability,the implementation effect of the recruitment system is not good,the training mechanism of counselors is not reasonable,the performance evaluation mechanism of counselors is not perfect,etc.From the perspective of counselors themselves,their motivation and awareness of professional development are insufficient,their ideological and political education mode needs to be improved,their professional skills need to be improved,and their business practice ability needs to be improved.In view of the above problems,more efforts should be made to improve the professional ability of counselors in private application-oriented undergraduate colleges.From the perspective of the government,it is necessary to promulgate relevant policies on the construction of counselors in private colleges,formulate the admission system of counselors' occupation in private colleges,set up counselors' specialty in some colleges and improve the social identity of counselors' occupation in private colleges and universities.From the perspective of school management,it is necessary to optimize the structure of college counselors,improve the training system for college counselors,and improve the evaluation and incentive mechanism for college counselors.From the perspective of counselors themselves,we should improve the ideological and political quality of counselors,improve professional level and social practice ability.Through the concerted efforts of the government,schools and counselors themselves,we hope to effectively improve the professional ability of counselors in private application-oriented undergraduate colleges,optimize the team of counselors,and promote the growth of students.
