Research On The Cultivation Of Application-oriented Technical Talents In Private Universities

As an important part of national higher education,private undergraduate universities play an important role in expanding educational supplies,easing the contradiction between the growth of college entrance examination students and the shortage of higher education vacancies.At present,the scale of private undergraduate universities is constantly expanding,and the proportion of private undergraduate universities to national higher education is increasing year by year.In addition,the rapidly changing economic situation has a strong demand for application-oriented technical talents,so there are still many problems in the talents cultivation of private undergraduate universities.This paper starts with the problems of talents cultivation of private undergraduate universities,analyzes and studies the scale,orientation,teaching quality,teaching staff,specialty setting,and other related aspects of private undergraduate universities nationwide and in Henan province,in order to understand the current situation of talent cultivation of private undergraduate universities.Taking the philosophy of science and technology and higher education related theory as the foundation,on the basis of fully collecting data,using the method of literature research,data investigation and comparative research,embarking from the reality,dialectically analyze the outstanding problems in the development of domestic private undergraduate universities,such as talents cultivation orientation is not clear,its outstanding characteristic and specialty setting is not applicable,graduate student employment quality is not high,the teaching staff is insufficient and suffering brain drain,and then further analyze the causes of these problems.In reference to the existing scholar's research results and point of view,on the basis of the perspective on the theory of philosophy of science and technology combined with the actual situation,from the levels of the government and the school party,this paper proposes countermeasures to strengthen application-oriented technical talents cultivation of private undergraduate universities: the government should strengthen macro guidance and policy support,the school party should constantly improve the teaching method,practice teaching,school-enterprise cooperation,and teaching staff,make the vitality of private universities fully manifest,obviously improve application-oriented technical talents cultivation quality,so as to serve the society and regional economy.
