Since the publication of the National Guidelines for Physical Education Course Teaching in Colleges and Universities in 2002,the reform of physical education curriculum in Colleges and universities in China has made remarkable progress.However,in the course of the implementation of the curriculum in the past two decades,experts and scholars have found some problems and put forward their own views to improve the problems in the teaching process.Especially in recent years,with the prominent performance of functional training in the field of rehabilitation,coaches,experts and scholars have rapidly attracted attention.Researchers have carried out some discussions on the combination of functional training and various sports abilities,and achieved periodic results.However,whether functional training has a positive effect on the teaching of college basketball skills remains to be confirmed.Therefore,this paper attempts to introduce the mature training system in the field of rehabilitation into the University Physical Education curriculum,in order to provide new ideas for improving the University Physical Education curriculum.Research object and Method:Through the methods of literature,questionnaire,expert interview,experiment,mathematical statistics and other scientific research methods,this paper summarizes and analyses the results of the influence of functional training on the sports skills of college basketball courses,so as to explore the feasibility of combining functional training with college physical education courses.Enriching the content of university physical education curriculum and improving the functional training empirical system.In the course of the experiment,two parallel classes of undergraduate students were randomly sampled in the form of random sampling,and the experimental samples were screened.A 12-week intervention experiment was conducted to control the experiment before and during the experiment so as to avoid the influence of irrelevant variables on the experiment.After the experiment,the results of the basketball skills test and FMS of the two groups of students before and after the experiment were separately tested by mathematical statistics.The horizontal and vertical comparison of the test results,from the comparative analysis of the result data,whether there are differences between the basketball skills and the students' function movement patterns of the students by adding functional training combined with skill teaching content and adopting all the conventional teaching methods.The results of the experiment:(1)Functional training methods adopted in the experimental group are better than those used in the control group in triangular sideslip,30 seconds continuous shooting under the basket,and round-trip(two)dribble shooting,but the range of improvement of each index is different.There were significant differences in triangular sideslip and 30 seconds shooting under the basket(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in round-trip(two)dribble shooting between the two groups(P < 0.01).(2)In the experimental group,the six assessment results of the functional movement screening in the Deep Squat,Hurdle Step,In-line Lunge,Active Straight Leg Raise,Trunk Stability Push-up and Rotary Stability-Quadruped were better than the control group(P <0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the Shoulder Mobility assessment(P > 0.05).Conclusion and Suggestions:(1)Functional training is superior to the conventional teaching method adopted by the control group in terms of triangular sideslip movement,30 seconds fast shooting under the basket and round-trip(twice)dribble shooting skills in college basketball courses.(2)Functional training is superior to the conventional teaching method adopted by the control group in improving college students' physical function.Therefore,the functional training system can be added to the university sports basketball curriculum to improve the content of university sports curriculum.The purpose,method and scoring criteria of functional movement screening should be taught to students,so that students can master the method of functional movement screening independently,evaluate the weak chains in the process of sports,constantly improve their sports ability,and effectively implement the guiding ideology of the National Guidelines for Physical Education Course Teaching in General Colleges and Universities.
