Functional training,which recommended as an effective means of training,has achieved remarkable results in the field of competitive sports.Combined with the basic sports ability and teaching characteristics of college students,this paper explores the influence of functional training on the basic sports ability of College Students.The purpose is to provide reference for future development of functional training in the field of school physical education.Methods of experiment,documentation,questionnaire,interview and mathematical statistics were used.Taking college students in Nanjing College of Information Technology as the object of study.Choice two classes(one experimental class and one control class)as the experimental objects,two stages of functional training(firststage is 1-15 weeks,secondstageis 16-30 weeks)for the experimental class,the same conventional training phase for control class.After the experiment,according to the students’ class performance and the proportion of men and women,each class took 30 people(15 men and women each)as the test object.Before and after the experiment,the basic exercise ability test,functional exercise screening(FMS)test and the subjective feelings of the experimental class were investigated.The data were analyzed by SPSS20.0.The results of the study are as follows:1.In the first phase of 15 weeks functional training(1-8 weeks of functional corrective training and 9-15 weeks of functional training),the experimental group functional movement screening 7 test indicators have significantly improved improved(P<0.05).In the basic sports ability,the speed and agility quality ofexperimental group students improved significantly(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in strength,flexibility and endurance quality before and after the experiment(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in the control groupabout all the indexes before and after the experiment.2.At the end of the 30 weeks experiment,the functional test showed that the 7 test indexes of the experimental group highly significant improvement(P<0.01).In the aspect of basic motor ability,there were highly significant improvement in speed,flexibility,agility and endurance before and after the experiment about experience group(P<0.01)except for the strength(P<0.05).The scores of the control group also improved,but there was no significant difference.3.The subjective feelings of the students in the experimental class were investigated.It is found that the vast majority of college students have high interest in functional training,and they also have a good understanding of the positive role of functional training in improving basic athletic ability.4.Functional training has a good effect on the improvement of College Students’ basic sports ability from the overall results of the experiment,and the introduction of functional training into college sports classes has positive effects on Improving College Students’ sports ability,interest in sports and prevention of injuries.
