As a valuable resource of the country,skilled talents play an important supporting role in promoting industrial upgrading and high-quality industrial development.The purpose of this study is to explore the application of STEAM education concept in the development of industrial robot course in secondary vocational schools and to carry out case teaching practice,so as to find new ideas for the training of professional talents in secondary vocational schools,solve the problems existing in the teaching process of industrial robot course in secondary vocational schools,and improve the quality of personnel training.First of all,through reading a large number of documents,this paper finds that the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry and the adjustment of industrial structure are in urgent need of a large number of all-round development of skilled talents.The training of these talents depends on education,and then studies the policies and systems of the state in promoting the training of secondary vocational schools.Thus,the purpose of this paper is determined.Through literature research,questionnaire survey,teacher interview and comparative study,this paper analyzes the development process of STEAM,the research status of STEAM education at home and abroad,and the research status of industrial robot curriculum in secondary vocational schools at home and abroad.Find out the gap and problems,so as to determine the starting point of this paper.On the basis of the previous research,a questionnaire survey was conducted among the students of the secondary vocational schools in the region,and an interview with the industrial robot teachers of the secondary vocational schools in the province was conducted to demonstrate the necessity of carrying out STEAM education.By comparing the relationship between secondary vocational education and STEAM education in terms of teaching concept,education purpose,teaching procedure,teaching method and teaching evaluation,we can find the basis for the feasibility study of STEAM education.In terms of educational concept,the teaching theories,such as interdisciplinary thinking,STEAM educational concept,experience interest curriculum theory,constructivism learning theory,learning transfer theory and Dewey's "learning by doing" theory,lay a solid theoretical foundation for the development of curriculum system.Breaking the traditional subject thinking and closely following the STEAM education concept,the paper develops and constructs the STEAM curriculum system of industrial robot in secondary vocational school from four parts: curriculum objective design,curriculum content determination,curriculum implementation scheme and curriculum evaluation system construction,and selects the case of stacking programming and operation for comparative teaching practice.SPSS software is used to analyze and evaluate the data of the students' engineering creativity scale.It verifies the scientificity and validity of curriculum development.The research shows that STEAM curriculum can promote the growth and development of vocational school students.This paper provides a reference for the research of industrial robot course in secondary vocational school.
