As one of the ten core concepts in mathematics curriculum criterion of nine-year compulsory education,geometric intuition has attracted attention from scholars in the field of education.Geometric intuition can simplify difficult mathematical problems,and can help students analyze and solve questions.It is beneficial to the cultivation of students' thinking of the combination of numbers and shapes,the development of students' mathematical thinking ability and the improvement of students' mathematical subject quality.As the beginning of the third stage,grade seven proposes to establish students' geometric intuition initially in the course objective.There are many but relatively simple mathematical knowledge points in grade seven.Students pay attention to the learning of surface knowledge and easily neglect the learning of mathematical methods.The investigation on the level of geometr ic intuition of the seventh grade students can not only help the st udents to reflect on the previous mathematics learning situation,but also provide the basis for the later senior mathematics learning plan.In summary,it is of certain research value to investigate the geometry intuition ability of grade seven students.First of all,literature review is used to sort out the literature on students' geometric intuition ability at home and abroad,to understand the current research situation in this field,and to identify the issues to be studied;secondly,using the questionnaire survey method,the geometry intuition level of grade seven students was selected as the object of investigation.Through the adaptation of the geometry intuitive level questionnaire,the students were tested,and the results of the test were statis tically analyzed to understand the level of geometric intuition and the existing problems of the students.Finally,the outline of student interviews and the outline of teacher interviews were compiled,and further understanding of students' perception and understanding of geometric intuition in mathematics learning was conducted through interviews.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The level of geometric intuition of seventh grade students is generally low,and they are basically at level 1.(2)The geometric intuition ability of grade seven students is different in different forms.(3)Grade seven students think that geometric intuition plays a positive role in learning,but their initiative in learning with geometric intuition is not high.(4)Students' drawing is not standard.According to the above conclusions,the corresponding teaching suggestions are given:(1)Strengthen the students' ability of image and text transformation in the teaching process.(2)Guide the students to contact the actual life and choose the appropriate geometric form for explanation.(3)Encourage students to draw independently and improve their initiative.(4)Teachers should strengthen the standardized training of students.
