Parent-child communication is a process of sharing information and exchanging emotions.Parent-child communication has an important impact on the physical and mental health of each family member and the development of the entire family.Parent-child communication problems are common,especially in the junior high school,most of them are in a period of youth rebellion,and they are more likely to have parent-child communication problems.In addition,many rural parents lack scientific communication concepts,and parent-child communication problems will become more obvious and serious.It is even more necessary to solve the problem of parent-child communication of rural junior school student's family.This study investigated the status through questionnaires and scales.Analyze what problems exist in the junior school students and their parents in Z village,what factors lead to them,what influences and needs.The results show that there are some parent-child communication problems in Z village junior school student's family,such as less time,low frequency,single content,low initiative and inclusiveness,inadequate expression and listening ability.The reasons are parental education,family income,family education and communication models,The current demand for is to enhance communication awareness,improve parent-child communication skills.Based on the existing social work intervention experience and the analysis results of this study,parent-child communication is an interactive process,and both parents and children participate in the group activities to improve the parent-child communication problem.In addition,there are differences in the problems and needs of parents and children in parent-child communication.Therefore,the parallel group social work method is adopted in the practical process.The children group and the parent group simultaneously carry out a single group of activities,and take the group activities in a timely manner.The parent-child parallel group takes the village activity center as the activity place,aims to improve parent-child communication skills and improve parent-child communication problems,and carries out a series of group activities such as self-reflection,communication awareness,clarification of hope,learning communication skills,and practical application.Conduct process and outcome assessments by participating in observations,interviews,and questionnaires.The evaluation results show that the completion and participation of the parallel group activities are relatively high.The team members can use more than three communication concepts or skills to improve the parent-child communication problem,and the group activities have reached certain expectations.Finally,it rethinks the advantages and disadvantages of the research.It also puts forward some suggestions on social work intervention in parent-child communication,improvement of social work service system and upgrade of home-school education content.
