Social Work Project Study In Immigrant Parent-Child Communication

With the steady progress of urbanization,Floating Population Family have become the focus of attention.Therefore,scholars are concerned about the problems of parent-child communication in Floating Population Family.This paper explores the positive role of social work project involvement in the improvement of the parent-child relationship in the new urban community of X city.Based on the literature review and the questionnaire of parent-child relationship,we found that there are many problems with parent-child relationship.Based on in-depth interviews,the author summarizes the deep reasons of the Floating Population Family's parent-child communication: inappropriate family education mode and unreasonable parent-child communication mode.So,on the one hand,we try to keep the object family to understand the influence of different family education mode and promote correcting despotic and authoritative way of communication.On the other hand,strengthen subjective initiative in parent-child communication and teach with communication,listening and expression skills,to improve the parent-child relationship of Floating Population Family.In fact,through the evaluation of the project,we can find the goals of the project has been accomplished.It enhances the consciousness that solving problem through effective communication,the listening and expression skills,improve the parent-child relationship and promote effective communication.Hope this project provide reference for similar projects in the future.
