Study On The Influence Of Surfing Competition On WanNing Tourism

Sports tourism is becoming one of the driving engines of urban economic and social development,which makes the research on the interaction between characteristic sports events and urban tourism more and more important.As a product of the cross penetration of sports industry and tourism industry,sports tourism has a strong attraction and broad market prospect.In particular,sports events have a great impact on the infrastructure construction and tourism development of host cities.In recent years,some important sports events,especially surfing events,have been held in wanning,hainan,which has greatly influenced the development of Wanning's tourism.Since 2010,Wanning has held nine world-class surfing competitions and more than ten domestic surfing competitions in succession.Surfing competitions are becoming more and more mature in Wanning.By combing and analyzing the impact of sports events on the city,this paper deeply explores the impact of surfing events,studies the impact of wanning surfing events on its urban tourism,and analyzes the impact of surfing events on the development of wanning tourism by means of literature and statistical analysis.By studying the case of wanning surfing competition,this paper analyzes its impact on urban tourism,so as to form a set of methods to study and evaluate other competitions,and puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions topromote urban tourism development relying on competitions,so as to provide reference for other cities to develop sports tourism.
