Research On The Current Status And Developing Countermeasures Of Surfing In Wanning

Wanning City,known as the Surfing “Holy Land” in China,has made an important contribution to the rapid development of China's surfing projects,but at present,there is a lack of research on surfing at home and abroad.In order to fully understand the development process and current situation of surfing in Wanning and summarize the factors that affect the development of surfing,this paper uses the methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,field investigation and mathematical statistics to conduct a questionnaire survey on 2000 social masses and 221 professional surfers in Wanning.Based on the results of the questionnaire,this paper analyzes the development of surfing in Wanning,and discusses the development countermeasures of surfing in Wanning,combining with the literature research and the suggestions of interviewing experts.The research found that:As time goes on,more and more international events are held in Wanning,and the number of participants is also increasing.The surfing events held in Wanning have begun to take shape,attracting more and more international surfers to participate.Driven by the surf club,the surfing in Wanning is developing rapidly.Among the surfers,those aged 19-45 are the most,accounting for 65.84%;the number of male participants is higher than that of female participants;the proportion of office workers is the highest,accounting for 51.22%;the number of undergraduate students is the most,accounting for 47.86%;among the motivations to participate in surfing,tourism contacts are the most,many are just contacts,and the participation in surfing during holidays accounts for 88.85%.Many people just come to experience surfing.People's participation in surfing is mainly restricted by the region.In the survey,48.42% of the athletes aged 13-16 were involved.The reason for this phenomenon is that a large part of surfers are now transferred from sailing to surfing.53.39% of the athletes who have been exposed to surfing for one to three years,the main reason for this phenomenon is that the formation time of each provincial team in China is around August 2018.The distance between the training base and the seaside mainly affects the surfing frequency of the athletes.40.72% of the athletes have 7-9 months of training every year,and 33.48% of the athletes have 4-6 months of training.The reason for the above phenomenon is that the waves in Wanning area are not always able to meet the conditions of mobilization training.Only in the winter of every year and during the typhoon of every year,can the waves appear high waves of mass.The surfer's evaluation of the surfing environment in Wanning area is very high.The main problems of Wanning surfing are the lack of infrastructure and government propaganda near the surfing point,the high cost and danger of surfing itself.The corresponding suggestions are as follows: the government should focus on the construction of surfing infrastructure,strengthen the propaganda and guidance of surfing,actively build brand events,create the promotion mode of "surfing + tourism",strengthen the cooperation and communication between Wanning and other surfing areas in China,and the construction of coaches.All in all,this study can enrich the research of surfing in China,summarize the development mode of surfing in China,provide reference for the rapid development of surfing in China,and promote the leaping development of surfing in China.
