With the increasingly frequent global economic and trade exchanges,the increasingly active population flow,and the increasingly close cultural exchanges,the education sector also presents an international trend,setting off a trend of opening international schools.Rich and diverse curriculum is one of the characteristics of international schools.In terms of language discipline,compared with ordinary schools,international schools attach more importance to the transmission and inheritance of Chinese culture.As one of the important carriers of Chinese culture,ancient poetry is increasingly valued,which is fully reflected in the Chinese teaching in international schools.The teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in international schools centers on inheriting the excellent Chinese traditional culture,and adopts the education method combining in-class and after-class to cultivate students' culture,striving to highlight the national characteristics in cultural exchange and communication,and to input new blood and energy for the renewal of Chinese culture.At present,there are abundant research achievements in the teaching of ancient poetry in the educational circle,but few people pay attention to its development in the context of international schools.Therefore,the research on the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in international schools is extremely urgent.Based on the needs of education development in the new era,this study tries to collect data by means of questionnaire,analyze and understand the current situation of Chinese ancient poetry teaching in international schools,reveal the existing problems and causes,and discuss the strategies of Chinese ancient poetry teaching in international schools.Research shows that in international department of the Hunan Changsha Tongshenghu experimental school in the process of investigation and analysis,the author from the Chinese curriculum setting,teaching method and teaching content,students' study of the four ancient Chinese poems,discovered the problems under its international high school teaching of ancient Chinese poems,and from the school,teachers,education form three Angle,analyzes the causes of the problem: due to the need of cultivating international talents,all kinds of flowers,topped the exclusive English course,enough in the language class,the phenomenon such as poor learning efficiency;Students are weak in inheriting cultural consciousness,weak in learning interest and poor in accumulating traditional cultural knowledge.Classroom teaching content is mostly presented in the form of "fragmentation",which is difficult to achieve systematic teaching,and teachers' cultural literacy needs to be improved;Because with family education and social education contact alienate,look like "lively" after classactivity backside,effect however unsatisfactory.In view of the problem,the author puts forward the following strategies: increase the number of Chinese class hours,create efficient Chinese class;To stimulate students' interest in learning and strengthen their awareness of cultural inheritance;Improving teachers' cultural accomplishment and teaching methods;It is hoped that the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in international schools can be optimized and the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in ordinary high schools can be inspired.
