With the development of society and time going by,the reform of education is being carried out vividly.Traditional education can not develop talents who can adapt the society.National medium and long-term education reform and development program 2010-2020 issued by the ministry of education in china refers to that the period of education in high school is a key time when students can form their personality and set on their own feet.At the same time it is meaningful to improve the quality of our citizens and cultivate innovative talents.Actually,in the high school,students have the ability of managing their studies and lives,so there are many advantages if teachers give them the chance to do that.First of all,the ability and personality of students can be developed.What's more,their enthusiasm of management can be stimulated.At last,under the guidance of teachers in charge of classes,they become the hosts and their views on world,life and values will be cultivated,which is significant.In the educational circle home and abroad,the theory of students'self-management has been put forward for several years.However,affected by the quality of teachers and students and the environment of teaching,how to carry out the self-management,motivate their positives and download teachers' burdens is worth studying.The research has adopted three methods---documentary method?questionnaire survey and interviewing.From the six aspect of self-management---the theory of teachers,the sense of students' self-management,the instruction of class leaders,the instruction of the target and the system of the class,and the management of the activity,the author investigates more than 500 students and 20 teachers.The aims of the research have three aspects.Firstly,I should know the situation of self-management of this school and the existing questions.Secondly,I should know the reasons that affect the self-management of this school.Thirdly,I will put forward some relevant suggestions that can improve the situation.I draw the conclusions through the research as follows:at first,teachers would rather not update their theories,which has a bad influence on self-management.Secondly,because of the teachers' and parents' involvement in their studies and lives,students don't have the sense of self-management.Thirdly,the active students are willing to help teachers to manage the class,but the efficiency is low lack of the guidance of teachers.Fourthly,students don't have a clear mind of their target,so it is hard to fight for it.Fifthly,teachers and students don't cooperate with each other in making the system of the class,which leads to the obstacle of carrying out the system.Finally,students don't play an active part in some activities held in class,which make no difference in their minds.As is mentioned above,I put forward some suggestions.Firstly,update the theories of teachers in charge of classes,which keep pace with the times.Secondly,develop their sense of self-management gradually and improve their ability of self-management.Thirdly,class post construction should tend to be reasonable.Fourthly,make overall plans and take all factors into consideration when making the target of a class.Fifthly,make the system of a class scientifically.At last,hold a variety of activities which make sense in students' life.
