Four years ago,China started to fully implement the academic scholarship evaluation for postgraduate students in the fall semester of 2014.The main group of graduate students is postgraduate students.In terms of the theory and reality,it is of great significance to review and summarize the implementation of the academic scholarship evaluation for postgraduate students.Based on the expectation theory and the fairness theory,this study adopts the document analysis method and the survey research method to further study the academic scholarship evaluation for postgraduate students in Guangxi universities.Firstly,this research combs the historical changes of the academic scholarship evaluation for postgraduate students in China,reveals the background and development course of academic scholarship,summarizes the purpose of setting the academic scholarship evaluation for postgraduate students.The purpose is to provide financial support for postgraduates,encourage Postgraduates' learning,scientific research and all-round development,and improve the quality of postgraduate training.Secondly,the paper collects the relevant document of the academic scholarship evaluation for postgraduate students issued by Guangxi government,Guangxi universities and secondary schools.Through the deep analysis of these texts,the paper grasps the policy design of the academic scholarship evaluation for postgraduate students and analyzes the common points of evaluation rules,evaluation organizations,supervision and appeals in the evaluation rules of each two level college.Then,taking GS university as an example,the paper analyzes the status of the evaluation of academic scholarship for the graduate students,and the effectiveness of implementing academic scholarship in guaranteeing the basic life of the graduate students,improving the incentive mechanism and guaranteeing the quality of the students.However,the investigation finds that the master's understanding of academic awards is not ideal and the academic awards are learned.Gold satisfaction index,evaluation process fairness,student participation and other aspects of satisfaction is not high..Based on the above research,the existing problems in the academic scholarship evaluation in Guangxi universities are concluded,which mainly include the unscientific index system of the evaluation,non-standard evaluation process,the imperfect related mechanism,and the positive guiding role that does n ot give full play to by the scholarship.The main reasons are the lack of experience in the implementation of academic scholarship,the lack of communication among the training units,the greater differences between the subjects and the personal qualities of the master's students,and the difficulty of quantifying and coordinating the evaluation indexes.Finally,aiming at the problems,the corresponding solutions are put forward,including the establishment of scientific evaluation indexes,the standard assessment process,the improvement of the relevant mechanism and the full play of the positive guiding role of the scholarship.The innovative points of this research are as follows: first,the innovation of topic selection.The implementation time of academic scholarship on a national scale is not long,and the related researches are less;there are mainly the general researches and case studies of some universities in the existing researches,and this research studies the integrality of the academic scholarship evaluation for postgraduate students.This is not studied by the predecessors.Secondly,this research deeply and comprehensively analyzes the text,and carries out the field research;the research conclusions are concluded by combining the two,which is more conducive to enhance the persuasive power.However,this research still has the room to be further expanded,and the empirical investigation will be carried out in more universities and the summary of experience of academic scholarship evaluation for master student will be risen to the theoretical height to provide the reference for the academic scholarship evaluation in universities.
