In April 2017,the China Press and Publication Research Institute released the results of the “14th National National Reading Survey Report”.The data of the investigation report is thought-provoking.In 2016,the annual average national book readership in China was 7.86,which is similar to Japan's.There is still a wide gap in national reading between developed countries such as Germany and Germany.Gorky said that “books are the ladder of human progress” and that human exploration of nature's civilized achievements has been recorded in the form of letters,which has gradually promoted the progress and development of human society.Reading can accumulate a large amount of indirect experience in a short period of time,and ultimately achieve a qualitative leap.It can be seen that the role of reading in the growth of people is lifelong,and the formation of a good reading habit is crucial to their own development,and so is physical learning.The new curriculum reform aims to improve the scientific literacy of all students and reflects the curriculum concept from life to physics and from physics to society.For many years,front-line teachers and researchers in different disciplines have been constantly exploring teaching methods and practice models that are conducive to secondary school students' learning.This is also true of physics.The nature of compulsory physics curriculum determines that junior high school physics teaching should comprehensively reflect the achievements of human beings in exploring natural laws.It must include not only the exploration of nature's knowledge achievements,but also the scientific thinking,scientific methods,and scientific attitudes of explorers.The promotion of scientific spirit.Popular science books can help students expand their knowledge and understand the process and methods of scientific exploration.Students can generate interest and curiosity about science and technology,inspire students' innovative thinking,and cultivate students' correct world outlook,outlook on life,and values.Therefore,in the middle school physics teaching,carrying out popular science reading activities has positive significance for the innovation of physics teaching methods and physics learning for junior high school students.Based on the importance of reading,the practical problems faced by junior high school students in physics learning,and the new curriculum reforms,physics curriculum standards and other aspects,the author put forward the research topics of reading popular science books in physics teaching to promote physics learning for junior high school students.Firstly,literature reviews and theoretical reflections on popular science readings and physics teaching in middle schools were conducted through the literature review method.The theoretical basis for the research was found and the research thoughts were formulated.Next,the author adopted a questionnaire survey method to teach class reading for junior middle school students.The status quo and the effectiveness of the activities were investigated.At the same time,interviews were conducted with the teachers of the internship school.The feasibility of the implementation of the project was investigated in the early stage.Then the action research method was used to conduct a five-month teaching practice in the practice school.The teaching experience has drawn up instructional design and proposed activity programs.At the same time,it has summarized and analyzed the practical results,proposed teaching practice principles and activity implementation strategies based on this topic,and finally summarized and reflected on theoretical knowledge and practical results,and finally wrote This paper.The results of practice show that carrying out popular science reading activities has a certain degree of operability in the implementation of junior high school physics teaching.And meet the real needs of students' physics learning,so that students actively participate in teaching activities,stimulate students' interest in learning,and enrich the classroom teaching.At the same time,it has a positive meaning in cultivating students' good reading habits and improving the scientific literacy of all students.It is conducive to promoting the scientific spirit,stimulating students' patriotism,and establishing the responsibility and consciousness of applying science to human society.Physically effective learning.
