Today's technological development is unprecedentedly prosperous,and the reading of popular science works has become a part of daily reading.The reading of popular science works is an important part of Chinese reading teaching in junior middle school.Excellent popular science works not only show students the literary charm of popular science,but are also conducive to shaping students' scientific values ??and cultivating scientific spirit.Based on the "Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)" requirements for extensive reading,reading scientific and technological works,and reading the entire book,with the help of the concept of reading the whole book,the teaching of reading the entire book of popular science works in junior high schools is carried out from the following four aspects In-depth discussion:One is based on the current situation of the teaching of popular science in junior high schools,combing and analyzing the current situation of teaching of popular science works in junior high schools from the three dimensions of textbooks,teachers and students.In terms of teaching materials,comparing the selected texts of the PEP textbook and the unified textbook,it is found that the new textbook of the unified textbook not only pays more attention to the guidance of the method of reading the entire book of popular science works,but also pays more attention to the training of students The interest in reading the entire book of popular science works has also recommended to students the bibliography of my country's excellent popular science works,showing the charm of our country's popular science works.In terms of teachers,through interviews,it is found that the current teaching of popular science works has emerged: low teaching status,obvious tendency of test-oriented teaching,traditional teaching methods and single evaluation mode.On the student side,a survey of the status quo of students' popular science works through a combination of questionnaire surveys and interviews found that there are problems with students' unmet reading needs,high learning expectations,and deviations in learning goals.The second is to formulate the core literacy goals of Chinese language teaching for the entire book of popular science works in junior school,and based on the Gestalt learning theory,the recent development area theory,the theory of multiple intelligence and the teaching principles of integrity,activity and life.Reading teaching strategies for the entire book of popular science works lay the foundation.Third,in terms of the strategies for reading the entire book of popular science works,we first sorted out the five-step basic teaching process of reading the entire book of popular science works: "Selecting-Guide-Reading-Studying-Sharing",on this basis For the teaching implementation of reading the entire book of popular science works,three basic lesson types are designed: reading initiation class,process guidance class,and sharing demonstration class.The fourth is to uphold the idea of ??combining theory and practice,and select the self-reading bibliography "How far are the stars from us" in the comprehensive edition of the eighth grade that students generally expect to read.Specific teaching designs were made for the reading teaching of the entire book "How Far are the Stars from Us" in three aspects: the initial class,the process guidance class,and the sharing demonstration class.
