Since the 21 st century,the new type of popular novels--online novels have been widely loved by junior middle school students,but parents and schools hold an opposing attitude,and the classic novels are gradually ignored,so the teaching of Chinese novels in junior middle school is in a passive predicament.This thesis starts from this situation.This paper explores the positive influence of popular novels on teenagers and puts forward the strategies of developing and using the teaching resources of popular novels to serve the teaching.This paper aims at understanding the reading status of popular novels of junior middle school students in Handan,and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of popular novels for students' growth,so as to provide a basis for feasible teaching strategies.As for the reading status of popular novels of junior middle school students,the author conducts a careful and detailed investigation and study by means of questionnaire,interview and literature review.The questionnaire deals with the content,time,purpose,categories,habits and opinions of different people on popular novels.The results show that the reading status of junior middle school students is worrying.The deficiency of the instruction of novel reading;The lack of good evaluation mechanism of novel reading;The establishment of external atmosphere of family,society and school is inadequate.Based on the results of investigation and analysis,this paper puts forward some countermeasures: teachers should update their ideas,improve their accomplishment,and let popular novels play a positive role in various teaching practices.As the subject of reading,junior middle school students should also carry out self-education,actively participate in activities and improve their appreciation ability;The school is obliged to provide teachers and students with favorable conditions for good development,and should give understanding and support to the teaching and research related to popular novels.As the strong support of education teaching,parents should also create a good reading atmosphere for students,participate in the classroom teaching of popular novels,and help school teachers supervise students.This article is divided into three parts.The first chapter clarifies the significance,theoretical basis and method of the subject selection,understands and analyzes the domestic research status,and provides the research motivation and strong theoretical support for this paper.The second chapter analyzes the status quo of the reading of popular novels of junior middle school students through questionnaires and further explores the causes of the status quo.The third chapter,aiming at the above situation,puts forward the coping strategies of popular novels as the development and utilization of Chinese reading resources in junior middle school.This paper believes that the introduction of popular novels into Chinese classes,based on the education principle of family and school integration,will have a profound impact on the reading of junior middle school students,so as to get rid of the dilemma of Chinese novel reading teaching and comprehensively improve the Chinese literacy of junior middle school students.
