This paper is a thematic study on the design,application and evaluation of geometry sketchpad in high school mathematics teaching.As an auxiliary tool for teacher teaching and student learning,geometry sketchpad design quality and operation method plays an important role in the effectiveness of classroom teaching and the cultivation of students' abilities.First of all,in the early stage of design,teachers should grasp the relationship between High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards and teaching,identify teaching integration points,sort out the thinking process,and work out the student analysis and technical operation.The principles of the design of geometry sketchpad include the principle of subjectivity,the principle of effectiveness,the principle of stratification and the principle of flexibility.This study will focus on the teaching types of the following three teaching modes: discovery type,inquiry type and application type.Secondly,the author studies the teaching cases of geometry sketchpad in high school,which covers function,plane geometry and solid geometry,and analyzes the development process of students' thinking stage under different teaching types to implement the improvement of teaching efficiency and the cultivation of students' abilities.In addition,this paper also points out the problems in the design and use of geometry sketchpad and puts forward suggestions for improvement.Finally,the scientific evaluation elements,reasonable evaluation contents,and effective evaluation methods for the evaluation plan of geometry sketchpad in high school mathematics teaching are determined.This study presupposes the evaluation of geometry sketchpad design,students and teachers in three dimensions.From the aspects of geometry sketchpad design quality,use effect,and development evaluation,the role of geometry in high school mathematics teaching is evaluated by the methods of observation method,detection method,investigation method,geometric drawing board operation method,self-evaluation method.The author hopes to link the theory of geometry sketchpad teaching with the practice of mathematics teaching in senior middle school through the study of the above issues,and give advice on the design and use of geometry sketchpad to improve the teaching of high school mathematics geometry sketchpad.
