| The advancement of information technology has promoted the application of mathematics in production and life.In the field of education and teaching,the emergence of the Geometric Sketchpad can quickly and vividly realize the combination of number and shape,enhance the interest of classroom activities,improve students’ learning enthusiasm,and make the teaching effect double the result with half the effort.However,the author found that the research on the application of geometric sketchpad in teaching is mostly focused on geometric learning.As an important part of mathematics learning in junior high school,the study of "Number and Algebra" can not be ignored as it connects the content of elementary school and lays a solid foundation for more in-depth study in senior high school.Geometry Sketchpad is bound to give full play to its advantages in the study of "Number and Algebra",and help teachers teach and students learn.The main content of this article is to study how the Geometric Sketchpad is used in the study of "Number and Algebra".The thesis consists of six parts.The first part introduces the background,content outline,significance and research methods of this case study.The second part sorts out the current situation of the teaching and application research of Geometry Sketchpad at China and abroad.The third part uses questionnaire surveys and interviews to understand the current situation of using Geometric Sketchpads in mathematics teaching in a junior high school in Zhengzhou.The fourth part expounds the theoretical basis of the integration of Geometric Sketchpads and "Number and Algebra" in junior high school mathematics,briefly introduces the functions of geometric sketchpads,and selects the knowledge that we can use the Geometric Sketchpad to learn "Number and Algebra".The fifth part is based on the classification of "numbers and formulas,equations and inequalities,and functions",sorted and summarized in the junior high school mathematics Beijing Normal University version textbook in the order of textbook compilation.In the study of "Number and Algebra",sixteen typical cases of using Geometric Sketchpad to assist teaching are specifically designed,and three specific teaching cases of Number Axis,System of Linear Inequalities in One Variable,Quadratic Functions and One Element Quadratic Equations are designed.The author recorded the homework of the experimental class and the control class and the feedback of the students’ academic level testing to test the effect of the Geometric Sketchpad teaching,and timely reflect on it to improve the teaching design with the Geometric Sketchpad.The sixth part summarizes the advantages of Geometry Sketchpad in the teaching of "Number and Algebra",points out the shortcomings of this research,and thinks about the direction of future efforts.The innovation of this article is to study how to integrate the Geometry Sketchpad into the "Number and Algebra" part of junior high school mathematics,and to organize and produce the Geometry Sketchpad courseware of related knowledge.This article relies on teaching,combined with the attitude of teachers and students to use Geometric Sketchpad,the effects of teachers and students’ learning,and analyzes the advantages of Geometric Sketchpad.It is hoped that while improving the author’s ability to use Geometric Sketchpads,this research can arouse mathematics teachers’ original intention to use Geometric Sketchpads,ignite the enthusiasm for the application of Geometric Sketchpads,and inspire more mathematics educators to be more creative in the teaching of "Number and Algebra" using Geometric Sketchpad. |
