For more than 20 years,the Geometer's Sketchpad has been popularized in present since the beginning of promotion in China.Teachers have experienced the process of learning about Sketchpad from unfamiliar to familiar.In the new era,due to the needs of teaching modernization and innovative talents,people have put forward higher requirements for the integration of geometric sketchpad and different subjects.Although during the teaching procedure,people practically need the application of geometer's sketchpad,the current situation of the application of Geometric Sketchpad is not satisfactory.In order to further know about the real situation of teachers' application of geometric sketchpad,the author conducts a study about how to improve the effectiveness of the application of geometric sketchpad according to different teaching content.First of all,use the literature survey method to sort out the related concepts,teaching functions and teaching applications of Geometer's Sketchpad.Secondly,with the methods of questionnaire and interview,the author investigates the level of teachers' Geometry Sketchpad and teaching application.Finally,based on the author's teaching experience and combined with case studies,the basic steps of the application of three different types of geometric sketchpads are given.Through sorting out the recent literature on the application of geometric sketchpad,this article concludes that the application study of mathematics teaching mainly focuses on three aspects:the introduction and promotion of experience;how to use Geometric Sketchpad to explore different teaching content;how to use Geometric Sketchpad to carry out mathematical experiments and complete teaching.Through questionnaires and interviews with teachers,the author finds that there are still three problems in the application of geometric sketchpad:the development and use of Geometric Sketchpad is uneven among schools and age groups;although teachers agree with the teaching advantages of geometric sketchpad,they can not make full use of it,the actual level of use is low;Teachers' ability to integrate traditional media and Geometer's Sketchpad is weak.Based on the author's teaching practices and the growing experiences of some teachers,the author summarizes some methods to improve teachers' ability of operating the geometric sketchpad.Using case analysis,the paper summarizes the operation steps and concrete methods of the application of Geometric Sketchpad in concept class,proposition class and problem solving class.
