In recent years,due to economic globalization and the continuous improvement of Chinese international influence,Chinese has been popular around the world.South Korea has closely relationship with China culture and economy,there is an upsurge of learning Chinese inevitably.In order to promote the development of Chinese teaching,the National Academy of international education of Korea has signed an agreement with the Hanban.The agreement shows that since 2012,it can be recommended by various universities and screened by Hanban,the postgraduate or undergraduate graduates can assist Chinese teaching in Korean primary and secondary schools.Gyeonggi-do region is one of the earliest areas where began to teach Chinese,it also has a large number of high schools and native speakers.There were 20 high schools with CIPK Chinese teachers by 2017.This paper conducted interviews and questionnaires with Chinese teachers both from China and Korea,and 200 Korean students in 18 senior high schools in Gyeonggi-do,Korea.The survey including the Chinese course,faculty,learning motivation of students,education development,teaching material,education type and so on.The aim of this paper is to conclude the characteristics of various high schools,different teaching needs and teaching emphasis through the investigation of different types of high schools in Gyeonggi-do(such as foreign language high school,vocational high school and ordinary high school),and collect the work materials of Korean teachers and Chinese teachers.In other words,we find out the specific differences and common problems of Chinese teaching in high school,and put forward some suggestions to improve the development of Chinese teaching in Gyeonggi-do.This paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter briefly describes the history,background,current situation,and high school category of the development of Chinese language teaching in Gyeonggi-do.The second chapter conducted a detailed investigation and analysis of the teachers,curriculum,and teaching modes of the three types of high school in Gyeonggi-do through the combing of the questionnaires and the contents of the interviews.The third chapter compares and collates the teaching of Chinese in the three types of high school and discovers the problems that exist in various types of high school and discuss and analyze them in depth to find out the specific differences and common problems in various types of high school in Chinese teaching.The fourth chapter puts forward some suggestions for improving these issues in order to better promote the development of Chinese teaching in the Gyeonggi-do of Korea.
