The Study Of The Elderly Immigrants' Social Adjustment

There is such a group,they did not choose to grow old in their homeland.They did not share tea and horses with their old friends in their hometowns.Instead,they packed up their bags and rushed to the city where their children worked,provoking family life of chores: buy the ingredients,cook dinner,carry baby.They are elderly immigrants.If they are not yet completely old,they will contribute their share to reduce the burden on their children.In recent years,studies on the elderly immigrant have been increasing fast.Experts are concerned about the sense of integration of the elderly immigrant with the new community,trying to analyze the factors that affect the sense of integration of the elderly in the community,and using social work methods to relocate the old people's lives,trying to expand the social circle,resolve their negative emotions,and help them better integrate into their lives.This author believes that the elderly immigrant is a new group that accompanies the process of urbanization,and its scale is expanding year by year.Contrary to a series of self and environmental factors,after moving into a new family of children,there will inevitably be some completely different from the original life.It is worth studying and verifying whether or not they can adapt to their environment and whether they will have some emotional or psychological problems during the role-playing process of the old people.This article will research on 110 elderly immigrants' social adaptation of the D community in the B city,I will use quantitative research to analyze their status of adaptation from the five dimensions:relationship adaptation,psychological adaptation,lifestyle adaptation,cultural shape adaptation and social environment adaptation,and obtain the overall situation of social adaptation of the community with the elderly immigrant,including low family decision-making power,no sense of belonging,great differences in life style,and dissatisfied with the whole environment of the community,male elderly immigrant in some aspects of adaptation is higher than women,etc.different dimensions of the adaptation level influence to each other.Under the theory of social support network and social exclusion,analyze the causes of social adaptation problems,including the limitation of household registration system,the lack of family support network,the influence of personal values and the absence of community support,etc.Put forward professional social work recommendations from macroscopic,meso and microcosmic three levels,to enhance the adaptability and happiness of the elderly immigrant in the relocated place.
