Since the reform and opening-up policy,our country's economy has been developed rapidly.In order to improve the economic status of the family,more and more rural laborers has been flowing into urban areas.Urbanization has been protected effectively.Because of various constraints parents and children can not live together in the city.Their children are cared by their families or relatives who live in rural areas.Left-behind children have mushroomed in rural areas of our country.Jiangxi is a large province which has a number of labor exporting in China.And the left-behind children have a considerable proportion in the province.In recent years,the Jiangxi Civil Affairs Department has tried to strengthen the protection of left-behind children by the government for buying social work services.Childhood is a crucial period for children to establish their attachment relationship with their parents,character development and interpersonal relationship.Most of the left-behind children lack of parents' caring,the loss of affection will hurt their souls.Facing the setbacks in life,the emotional guidance and the immature and instability of their own psychological development often make their emotions uneasy and produce cognitive bias,which will affect normal social interaction.Social avoidance means that children are reluctant to interact with people or have low frequency of interaction,no matter in unfamiliar or familiar social environment often appear alone behavior,such children generally have such problems as psychological anxiety,fear,depression,low self-awareness and insufficient development of social skills.These problems are likely to get worse as children grow older.By questionnaire survey method,this paper shall screen out rural area left-behind children in accord with the requirements as research subject,thereby discusses left-behind children's research states,social avoidance behavior,influence factors and solutions then intervene by effective group social work methods.Based on Advantage perspective theory and Interpersonal communication theory,this research wield knowledge and skills of social work.With professional techniques and methods,the group members could obtain information of utility then they can help the children to exert correct cognitive beliefs,even alter their old interpersonal communication and cultivate fine code of conducts.Through the qualitative assessment and quantitative evaluation of group work,we can get the concluded that group work has a significanteffect on correcting social avoidance behavior.Finally,the author puts forward the corresponding reflection and prospect.
