With the continuous development of China's economy,cities are becoming more and more attractive to the countryside.Many working people in rural areas have come to work in the cities to support their families.This has given birth to a special group of left-behind children.In recent years,policies on education,safety,and psychology of left-behind children have emerged endlessly,but society has paid close attention to the social interaction of left-behind children in rural areas.We live in a society full of people.It is unavoidable and crucial to have a connection with the society.Whether left-behind children have good social communication ability has a profound impact on their growth.This study uses the “I and You” project in N city as the platform and the left-behind children in M village as the research object.Under the organization of village committee leaders,school teachers,and community front-line social workers,the literature method,questionnaire method,interview method,and Observation method and group work method in social work,carried out 7 group activities to intervene in social communication ability of left-behind children in M village,in order to achieve the goal of improving social communication ability of left-behind children in rural areas.According to the problems of left-behind children's social interactions found during the internship in Village M,a detailed survey of the life background of left-behind children was conducted through interviews to understand the left-behind children's family,health,learning,interpersonal communication,and psychological behavior,Security,and other group characteristics.Using the scale to measure the social interactions of left-behind children,combined with interviews to understand the social interaction status of left-behind children in M village,it was found that the left-behind children in the area had abnormal social behavior,lack of communication and cooperation skills,cognitive bias,and weak emotional control.Problems,and analyze the causes of social interaction problems from macro to micro.Based on the theory of interpersonal needs,supplemented by the theory of communication analysis and the theory of communicative behavior,the group work method was used to intervene to provide a stable environment for the left-behind children's tolerance needs so that they can quickly establish contact with the surrounding people and obtain Group approval;In response to support needs,train communication skills and cooperation skills;in response to emotional needs,correct misunderstandings and form correct self-cognition,and learn to control emotions.Based on the experience of group activities,evaluate the process and effectiveness of services,and make targeted suggestions on the social interaction of left-behind children from macro to micro: social aspects,give full play to the role of the government,reduce rural labor to the city Transfer the phenomenon,promote the improvement of social communication related policies,link external resources to provide services for left-behind children;community play the role of village committees and schools,organize related lectures and activities,create an inclusive community environment,and provide relevant courses for children and guardians On the family side,parents should minimize going out and pay attention to the growth of left-behind children;on the personal side,children should give full play to their own initiative.
