On The Reasons And Prevention Mechanism Of Students' Loss In Secondary Vocational Schools

The secondary vocational education is an important part of high school education in China.Today,the state attaches great importance to vocational education.The phenomenon of student drain seriously affects and restricts the rapid development of vocational education.The loss of students has many adverse effects on secondary vocational education,the public image of schools and social stability.After students drop out of school,they lose the opportunity to learn and improve and at last their career is limited.The nineteen major reports of the party put forward specific arrangements for giving priority to the development of education,emphasizing the need to popularize high school education.Fully implement the spirit of the nineteen major reports,conscientiously explore the causes of the loss of secondary vocational students,try to make every child enjoy a fair and quality education,and promote the realization of the goal of the comprehensive popularization of high school education.This study systematically sums up the results of relevant research and practice by extensively reviewing the literature on the causes of student loss in vocational colleges at home and abroad and the prevention mechanisms.The Delphi method was used to design questionnaires to classify and summarize the causes of the loss of students in case schools.Conduct an on-site interview with the class leader of the loss student to obtain relevant information.Comprehensive use of professional education management,vocational education,psychology and other related disciplines theory,based on the main reasons for the loss of students,to optimize the prevention mechanism of loss of students in secondary vocational schools.The study found that the reasons for the loss of secondary vocational students are complicated: some students lose because of one reason,some students lose for many reasons;some students are active loss,some students are passive loss;the loss rate of students in different specialties is different,and the loss rate of students in different periods is different.The causes of loss can be divided into four dimensions,namely,society,family,school and student.Based on the results of the investigation,according to the principles of people-oriented,institutional guarantee and cooperative operation,the mechanism of pre warning,information communication,psychological intervention and multi party linkage are proposed.Through the establishment of the prevention of loss organization,the sound periodic investigation system,the flexible school running form,the full dynamic management of all members,and the improvement of the legal rules.We should strengthen the management of the school and call on the society and the family to pay much attention to the problem of the loss of students,so as to realize the contribution of the nineteen major goal of universal high school education.
