| Because the economic construction and social development needs to adapt to the vocational education, vocational education is an important part of China’s education, and secondary vocational education is an important part of vocational education. With the rapid development of China’s social and economic development, the development of secondary vocational education has been highly valued by the state. But in the process of the development of secondary vocational schools, the loss of students has been one of the main problems that restrict the development of the students. The high attrition rate of secondary vocational schools has brought great negative effects on education and society. In this study, the JY school in Sichuan, for example, to the teacher, the students, the loss of potential student questionnaires, interviews with the loss of potential students and their parents, and the questionnaire and interview analysis.That loss is serious because the following four aspects. Social aspects: the enthusiasm of enterprises lack of cooperation; the business of entertainment, Internet cafes open to minors; lack of family life guidance of children’s education and guidance. Schools:traditional concepts of education and management, mental health education is not enough emphasis; teaching reform, practical teaching of insufficient capital investment;extracurricular activities is limited in quantity, low quality, lack of attraction;employment quality gap between expectation and reality. Family: the care for children is not timely, the lack of supervision; parents’ educational thought is not uniform, simple way of education. The students themselves: no career planning, no clear learning objectives; hedonistic thought is serious, lack of the hard-working spirit; students self-control ability is poor, lack of effective supervision.According to the investigation and analysis of the reasons put forward coping strategies and ideas, for schools to keep students provide reference information and policy basis, effectively reduce the loss rate, improve the educational quality ofsecondary vocational school, enhance the attractiveness of the secondary vocational school. Training of technical workers and service line to meet the needs of modern society and the high-quality service personnel for the society. |
