| The core concept of Chinese basic education curriculum reform is "for each student’s development." The emergence of a large number of underachievers clearly runs counter to the idea of a new curriculum reform,and each student has the hope of success,so every education workers must pay attention to the problem of the transformation of underachievers.There are many problems faced by front-line educators,such as:how to help underachievers get out of learning difficulties,improve their learning efficiency,and develop their learning abilities.It is also a subject worthy of studying in education teaching.In this thesis,the author uses the portfolio and its assessment theory as a guide and leads the underachievers to establish a chemistry learning portfolio in the teaching process.Applying the portfolio assessment helps two underachievers get rid of the state of chemical learning difficulties,stimulate chemistry learning interest,correct learning attitude,and cultivate learning ability.The paper consists of six parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background of the topic;domestic and foreign literature researches about the Portfolio,its assessment and underachievers;the content,methods,purpose and significance of the study.The second part is the research summary,which is mainly about the relevant concepts involved in this thesis such as the portfolio,portfolio assessment,the type of portfolio,the definition of underachievers,and the analysis of pedagogy and psychology theories supporting the research.The third part is the investigation and study,the design of questionnaires,to understand the chemistry learning status of senior students(such as chemistry learning interests,motivation,will,learning ability,etc.),and to analyze the survey data.It compares the differences between the chemical underachievers and achievers groups in chemical learning,and the impact of gender differences on chemical underachievers.According to the results of the investigation,it provides the strategic guidance for the practice of research on transforming underachievers.The fourth part is the preparation before practice.The preparatory work before the formal implementation of this research includes:firstly,selecting the practical research object(two chemical underachievers)according to the actual situation of teaching;secondly conducting a dialogue interview with the objects of practice to analyze the reasons of becoming chemical underachievers,based on their reasons for formulating different conversion strategies;thirdly,introducing the learning portfolios and their assessments to the practical objects,together with them to determine the contents,the collection methods of the portfolios,the portfolio assessment participants and assessment standards,etc.The fifth part is the formal implementation of the practice,including the case display of the materials collected in the portfolio and the portfolio assessment cases display.The sixth part is the analysis of the practical results.It obtains the results of this practical study through the analysis of the chemical grade and the dialogues interviews of the practical objects,and reflects the inadequacies of this paper.Through practical research,the following conclusions have been drawn:in the teaching process,underachievers collect and reflect on the learning materials in the chemical portfolio,which can stimulate their learning interests,correct their learning attitudes,form a right learning view and ultimately help them get out of learning difficulties. |
