A Survey Of Senior High School Students' Thinking Level Based On Van Hiele's Theory

Based on Van Hiele's theory of thinking level,this paper divides the students' thinking level of learning trigonometric functions into five parts,and then designs it for investigation and research.The researcher selected the students of two classes from a senior high school in Nanchang as objects,and used the test volume method to study their thinking level from the class and gender dimensions.In addition,interviews were used to understand the students' views on teaching.According to the statistical results,most of the students are at the level 3,and a large proportion of the students are still at the middle or lower levels of thinking.The study found that the difference in thinking level between male and female students was not significant;the average thinking level of girls(2.63)was higher than that of boys(2.49).On the basis of the results,some suggestions,aiming at the current situation of students' thinking level,were put forward from three aspects: students,teachers and teaching materials.
