Geometry is an important part of mathematics,and geometry curriculum reform is also an important part of mathematics curriculum reform.Improving the geometry teaching will help students to study geometry,promote the development of students' thinking ability and develope the students' logical thinking ability.the problem that a mathematics teacher has to face is how to do a good job of teachers' teaching and students' learning in middle high school geometry teaching.Van Hiele geometrical thinking level theory is an important reference for geometry teaching at home and abroad.There are two core contents of the theory: first,the geometric al thinking level is divided into five levels;second,it is corresponding to the five teaching stages.Based on the theory,we can analyze the geometrical thinking level and characteristics of students in order to design the teaching activities.According to Van Hiele geometrical teaching theory,we can design the new geometry teaching mode in junior middle school,and help students learn geometry knowledge better,thus develop students' geometrical thinking level.Based on the literature research,this paper is instructed by Van Hiele theory,and adopts the research methods such as investigation,action research,statistical analysis and so on.First of all,for students Van Hiele geometrical thinking level Usiskin designs the test scale as reference of students' geometrical thinking level test scale,and it's used to test the existing Van Hiele geometrical thinking level of the second grade junior middle school students.Then,according to the Van Hiele theory,the teaching design takes the first class of diamond as an example,and uses the five stages teaching mode of Van Hiele theory to teach.Finally,this paper designs a test scale of the special parallelogram geometry to test Van Hiele geometrical thinking level status of the second grade junior middle school students after teaching.According to statistic and analysis for data,we compare the experiment results of Van Hiele theory and the traditional teaching method,which show that teaching efficiency and teaching effect of the geometry teaching activities on the basis of the five stages teaching method of Van Hiele theory are better than common teaching activities.Therefore,Van Hiele five stages teaching method is easy to implement in the usual classroom design,and has certain promotion.
