The new teaching method of micro-course has been valued and recognized by many educational experts.It has been promoted in the education sector,but some problems have been discovered in the application process,such as the development of primary school English listening and speaking teaching blocked.The teaching advantage of the micro-course is undoubted.The micro-course are short,succinct,knowledgeable and rich in expression.They are effective in attracting students’ attention and interest,and promoting students’ cooperation and expression.This is consistent with the teaching requirements of the new primary school English curriculum.This is one of the reasons why microcourse are sought after by educators.The application of micro-course to primary school English listening and speaking teaching has a positive effect on improving students’ interest in English learning and oral expression.This study takes students from grades 3 to 6 of Hongqiao Primary School in Changsha High-tech District as the research object.By applying the micro-course to the English listening and speaking teaching of the school,it is found that there are still some problems in the teaching,which reduces the effectiveness of the micro-course.Therefore,this paper develops a research model combining theory and practice,and discusses the application strategies of micro-course in primary school English listening and speaking.The full text is divided into six parts,the first part is the introduction part,which summarizes the writing background,research status,research significance,research ideas and methods of the article.The second part is the theoretical part,which introduces the connotation and characteristics of the micro-course.The application value of micro-course in primary school English listening and speaking teaching,and three guiding theories are proposed: situational learning theory,humanistic theory and ARCS motivation model theory;the third chapter is the questionnaire survey,which is divided into student questionnaires and Teacher interviews,based on the survey results,analyzed the problems of micro-course in primary school English listening and speaking.The fourth chapter is the reason analysis part.It analyzes the causes of the problems raised in the previous chapter.Finally,it is the strategy part.When teachers apply micro-course to English in listening and speaking teaching,they must combine the design of micro-course with the teaching objectives.Pay attention to micro-class design optimization,teaching process optimization and evaluation optimization.This study aims to apply the micro-curriculum to the teaching of primary school English listening and speaking,and proposes the optimization strategy of micro-teaching teaching,and applies it to teaching practice.It is hoped that primary school English teachers will be helpful in carrying out micro-course listening and speaking teaching.
