Listening and speaking ability is an important index to evaluate students’ English language skills,and it is the most basic language skills in primary school English teaching.The English curriculum standard for compulsory education(2011 Edition)sets the goal of listening and speaking learning for Grade 5 of primary school to reach level 2.It not only requires primary school students to understand stories,questions and instructions with the help of materials,gestures and activities,but also can carry out short dialogues,narrate life and tell stories in daily language.It can be seen that primary school English listening and speaking classroom teaching is the key to the teaching of English language skills for senior primary school students.According to the individual characteristics and learning characteristics of senior primary school students,it is of great importance to take appropriate teaching methods and teaching resources to improve their listening and speaking classroom teaching effect.However,the relevant literature search found that English listening and speaking classroom teaching in primary school is not satisfactory,mainly due to the following problems:(1)the boring or improper teaching methods of listening and speaking inhibit the enthusiasm of students to participate in listening and speaking.(2)The teaching content and form of primary school students’ listening and speaking are single,which is divorced from the context of real language.(3)In the senior grade of primary school,due to fear of expression errors,students are afraid of classroom listening and speaking activities,lack of fun in learning,and learning interest drops.(4)Lack of listening and speaking perception ability training,students’ listening and speaking classroom learning efficiency is low.In view of this,previous scholars have explored the feasibility of using tablet computer and other information technology in primary school English listening and speaking teaching.Although it has promoted the tablet computer and other information technology into the vision of teachers and students and improved the effectiveness of primary school English listening and speaking teaching,due to the unreasonable design of listening and speaking teaching and the inadequate use of tablet computer and other information technology,teachers and students use tablet computers to carry out listening and speaking activities The enthusiasm is not high,and the effect of English listening and speaking teaching is not improved.Therefore,based on the tablet computer-aided design of vocabulary pronunciation,sentence dialogue,story narrative intelligent listening and speaking teaching design to explore its effectiveness in primary school fifth grade English listening and speaking classroom teaching,in order to improve the effectiveness of primary school fifth grade English vocabulary teaching.The subjects of this study are 131 students from two classes of grade five of Primary School in * province Q city.According to the principle of voluntary,class three is selected as the experimental class and class five as the control class.In the experimental class,tablet computer assisted listening and speaking teaching design was used,while in the control class,the traditional listening and speaking teaching design was used to carry out teaching research,and irrelevant variables were controlled.First of all,through the comparative analysis of the results of listening and speaking tests before and after the experiment in two classes to explore whether tablet computer assisted listening and speaking classroom activities can effectively improve primary school students’ English listening and speaking skills;secondly,through the results of the questionnaire survey before and after the experimental class discussion,the researcher explores whether tablet computer assisted English listening and speaking can effectively improve primary school English listening and speaking ability And the fifth grade students’ interest and enthusiasm to participate in English listening and speaking activities.The experiment lasted for a semester from early September,2019 to mid January,2020,during which listening,testing and questionnaire survey were included.At the end of the experiment,the results of the questionnaire show that: the listening and speaking teaching activities based on tablet computer-aided design vocabulary pronunciation,sentence dialogue,story narration effectively promote the initiative,participation and enthusiasm of primary school students to participate in listening and speaking activities,improve their satisfaction with listening and speaking classroom teaching,and cultivate their enthusiasm to participate in listening and speaking activities.The results of listening and speaking tests show that students’ listening and speaking skills have been significantly improved after listening and speaking teaching activities based on the tablet computer-aided design of vocabulary pronunciation,sentence dialogue,story narration.Based on the experimental results,previous research and related literature theory,the researchers draw the following conclusions:(1)the listening and speaking teaching activities based on the vocabulary of tablet computer-aided design can effectively improve the interest and enthusiasm of grade five students in primary to participate in classroom listening and speaking;(2)the dialogue and reason of pronunciation and sentence based on tablet computer-aided design vocabulary The teaching activities of narration and listening can effectively improve the students’ English listening and speaking skills.To sum up,the intelligent listening and speaking classroom teaching activities designed according to the cognitive psychological characteristics and learning characteristics of primary school students in grade five can flexibly,gradually and systematically guide the grade five primary school students to participate in and experience real listening and speaking activities,cultivate the communicative and instrumental nature of listening and speaking,promote the initiative and enthusiasm of fifth grade primary school students to participate in listening and speaking classroom activities,and broaden the teaching path of listening and speaking,It has a certain theoretical and practical significance for primary school English teaching.Due to the lack of theoretical knowledge,information technology and teaching ability,the design of intelligent listening and speaking classroom teaching has some defects,and it is not obvious to improve the accuracy of speech.In the follow-up research work,we should try our best to expand the scope and number of research objects,extend the research time,optimize the research resources,and improve the effect and efficiency of tablet computer assisted primary school English listening and speaking classroom teaching.
