Reading,as one of the basic content of high school English,plays an important role in English learning for high school students.From the process of reading,students can not only improve their language skills,but also improve their cognitive and other learning abilities and improve their communicative abilities.Therefore,it is imperative to improve students' reading ability.At the same time,there are also some problems in the existing high school English reading teaching.Too many teachers dominate the classroom,and students are always passively listening to knowledge,thereby lacking learning interest in high school English reading,thereby limiting the development of students' ability.Therefore,in the face of these problems,it is necessary for us to use the form of "Internet +" to increase students' interest in reading and students' reading comprehension level.Therefore,the author starts from the model of the flipped classroom,and based on the constructivist learning theory and autonomous learning theory,selects Class 1(45students)and Class 4(45 students)of second year students of No.X Middle School as samples to carry out the teaching of high school English reading.Class 1(45 students)is experimental class,and Class 4(45 students)is control class.This study attempts to explore two questions:(1)Can the flipped classroom increase students' interest in English reading?(2)Can the flipped classroom improve students' English reading comprehension ability? The author uses questionnaires,interviews,pre-test and post-test,student self-assessment form and mutual assessment form for one semester of the research,and use SPSS 22.0 to carry out statistics analysis on the collected experimental data to get the research results.The conclusion of this study includes the following two aspects.(1)Students' interest in learning English has increased significantly.Students are no longer passively receiving knowledge,but are able to proactively find problems,ask questions,discussand solve problems,and actively participate in classroom activities.(2)It can be seen from the students 'front-to-back results that the classroom teaching mode can improve students' reading ability.It can be seen that the teaching mode of the flipped classroom in high school is conducive to the development of students' English proficiency.
