| Reading is an important approach to obtain information in people’s daily lives,and it is also a necessary way to acquire English language knowledge and expand vocabulary.English reading proficiency is often seen as a relatively complete standard of the comprehensive English ability of students.With the reform of English test in college entrance examinations,reading comprehension plays an increasingly important role in English learning in high schools.Improving students’ reading ability is one of the urgent demands of teachers and students at this stage.However,there are still a series of problems in the actual English reading teaching,such as the monotonous teaching mode,the contempt for the difficulties and the incomplete analysis of text types.The flipped classroom teaching model breaks the limitations of time and place in traditional classroom teaching,and solves the problems caused by students due to individual differences.Teachers can optimize the teaching process according to the requirements of teaching objectives,and organically combine students’ passive learning with active learning.Therefore,this study aims to investigate the use of English reading learning strategies for senior one students in the flipped classroom teaching mode.It is hoped that through this investigation on the current situation of students’ use of reading learning strategies in the flipped classroom mode,targeted teaching suggestions will be put forward,which will prompt teachers to analyze specific problems in future teaching and guide students to use effective reading learning strategies to improve reading efficiency,and finally achieve the purpose of improving students’ reading level.The two problems that need to be solved in this survey are:(1)What are the English reading learning strategies in high school English reading teaching under the flipped classroom teaching model?(2)Compared with the traditional classroom teaching model,how does the reading learning strategy used in the flipped classroom teaching model affect students’ reading performance? In this paper,based on the above two research questions,a total of 98 students in Class 3and Class 4 of the first grade of a high school in Jining are selected as the research object.The survey tool of this paper mainly uses questionnaires,interviews and experimental tests for research.The questionnaire survey method and interview method are mainly aimed to investigate what reading learning strategies students use in the flipped classroom teaching model;The tests before and after the experiment are mainly aimed at students’ performance changes caused by the reading learning strategies used in the flipped classroom teaching mode. |
