Research On Looming And Teaching Strategies On “Zai……Shang/Xia/Li/Zhong”

Abstract/Summary:
The frequency of using directional frame in the four categories of “Zai……Shang/Xia/Li/Zhong” is pretty high.Also,such kind of directional frame can be combined and changed flexibly,which makes it difficult for students to systematically master the usage of them and even easily to make mistakes.In order to better guide the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language about the directional frame,this paper will analyze and explain such linguistic phenomena in terms of the looming situation and semantic contrast of“Zai……Shang/ Xia/Li/Zhong”.From the perspective of teaching,the author proposes teaching strategies through ontology research and the mistakes that foreign students usually made.The main body contains four parts in this paper.Firstly,this paper introduces the research status of the predecessors and the significance and methods about this study.It mainly demonstrates the holistic study of the directional frame,the vacancy and contrast of the preposition “ Zai ” and the postposition “Shang/Xia/Li/Zhong”.And it concludes the reason why the essay adopts directional frame but not the circumposition and prepositional frame.Secondly,this paper describes and analyzes the ambiguity of the preposition and the postposition about “Zai……Shang/Xia/Li/Zhong”from the perspectives of grammar,semantics and pragmatics.First this part introduces the preposition“Zai”,and then analyzes postposition “Shang/Xia/Li/Zhong”and also explains the reason of the looming by the theory of cognitive linguistic and interaction linguistics.Thirdly,this paper compares “Zai……Shang/Xia/Li/Zhong”in terms of semantic.And it analyzes the tendency of using of the two language points under the same conditions from the perspective of cognitive linguistics.The main point is about the comparison of the prepositions,such as comparison of “Zai……Shang” tend to express the sense of location and media,“Zai……Li”tends to emphasize inclusion and spatial awareness;“Zai……Xia”tends to indicate cover meaning and orientation meaning,“Zai……Li” tends to crap meaning;“Zai……Li”tends to circumscribed,“Zai……Zhong”tends to go on indefinitely.Finally,this paper describes the classification based on the corpus about the mistakes that foreign students usually made,and analyzes the reasons as per the ontology research in the previous content.According to the bias mistake situation and the characteristics of the directional frame,some teaching schema teaching method,and situational teaching method.The chunk teaching and schema teaching are proposed based on the special characteristics of the directional frame.Most of the corpora that have been applied in the third,fourth and fifth parts are borrowed the BCC corpus,and few of them are adopted from introspection and predecessors.Another part of this paper is the conclusion of the essay.The author summarizes the research results of this essay and points out her drawback in ontology research and collection of corpus.
