The Research Of The Construction "Ni Shuo X Bu X"and Its Degree Of Emergence

The article takes "ni shuo X bu X" as the research object like "ni shuo qiao bu qiao" "ni shuo guai bu guai" and others which evaluate with questions and express degree without degree words.Based on the Construction Grammar as the basic theory,Combining Grammaticalization,Functional Frammar,and Cognitive Grammar,this paper uses a combination of description and explanation,qualitative and quantitative analysis methods,and specifically discusses the syntactic structure,semantic features,textual functions,and speech of the construction "ni shuo X bu X" Mechanisms and so on.On the basis of defining the research object of the article,the three usages of "ni shuo X bu X" in the CCL corpus are classified and described,and similar points and differences are summarized through simple comparison.Syntactically,the construction "ni shuo X bu X" is formed by integrating "ni shuo" and "X bu X".The variable "X" is played by nature adjectives or affective psychological verbs,and is dominated by monosyllabic or disyllabic words,with oral color;the construction "ni shuo X bu X" in the communication is extensible,there are inserts such as sub-topics or stacked questions.Semantically,"ni shuo" displays subjectivity and interactivity in the construction,and "X bu X" expresses determinism and appraisal meaning in the overall entry construction;"subjective evaluation of high-level meaning" is the basic construction meaning of the construction "ni shuo X bu X",the "X" volume feature is the semantic source of degree meaning."ni shuo X bu X" marks the degree of "X" as a high quantity,and the internal magnitudes form a continuum with different levels of subjectivity and objectivity.According to the different expressions,"ni shuo X bu X"can be roughly divided into two types:"emphasis" and "procrastination,self-mockery".Pragmatically,the construction "ni shuo X bu X" is flexible in discourse,and is the main structure of the discourse.It has the role of framing the topic.In the spoken language,"ni shuo X bu X" is the postponement tendencies to highlight the focus in a limited time.The construction "ni shuo X bu X" helps maintain the consistency of the discourse.The sub-topics and the "X" play a cohesive and coherent role in discourse.The psychological presupposition of social conventions and the empathy effect that occurs in communication are the motives that cause speakers to express their discourse;in order to maintain the face of both sides of the communication,the form of formal consultation is called "ni shuo X bu X".Express subjective evaluations of their own high level of meaning.At the same time,in order to achieve the best connection and ensure the smooth progress of communication,the speaker stands at the listener's point of view and constructs a speech gradient.
