The research object of the article is spoken-discourse marker wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say).Current literature only discussed it on the semantics,they thought wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say)is I have the brave to say or I have the confidence to say,which is the equivalent of I promise.Through linguistic datum analyzing,we found when wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say)affirms the happened affairs,such as I dare say your childhood is sure misery,cannot be interchanged to I promise,because there exists discrepancy on both semantic features and informative intention.It’s not reasonable to explain sweepingly that wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say)equals to I promise.This kind of explanation will produce the deviation during the process of international students learning and using.Therefore,we obtained the relevant linguistic datum from CCL corpus,BCC corpus and etc.,use for reference for Three-Plane Theory,Discourse Markers Theory,System Functional Linguistics,related theory of Cognitive Linguistics and etc.,tried to inspect in different perspectives for the discourse marker wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say)to expect to redefine the spoken-discourse marker wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say).We adopted the method of description and explanation and analysis from three perspectives of syntax,semantics and pragmatics and teaching suggestions.Syntactically,from the syntactic distribution and sentence pattern selection and expansion of the discourse marker wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say),it can be situated in the beginning,middle and end of a sentence,and used in declarative,exclamatory and interrogative sentence.Semantically,starting from the semantic features of the discourse marker wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say),it requires three kinds of semantic features: [+deduction],[+maximal dose],[+affirmation].Pragmatically,we focus in the analysis of the function of discourse organization,the type of discourse relevance and the interpersonal function of the discourse marker wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say).from the aspect of topics and turns in conversation of the discourse marker wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say),wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say)has the role of opening,continuing and transferring the topics and turns in conversation,the type of discourse relevance of the discourse marker wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say)are mainly four kind of type of discourse relevance for turning,casualty,hypothesis and graduality;in the aspects of interpersonal function of the discourse marker wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say),it mainly have the function of affirmative assertion,focus marker,promoting the credited solution and subjectivity and dynamic interaction.In terms of teaching suggestions,we propose the typical situational method,the task-based teaching method,the staged level teaching and the practice diversification,and put forward the teaching idea of ??the X-shuo like discourse mark.Our conversational discourse marker wǒ gǎn shuō(I dare say)to investigate,on the one hand,it enriched the theoretical study of the spoken-discourse marker case,on the other hand,it also helped the second language acquisition. |
