A Research On Discourse Marker Of "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" In Modern Chinese

Since the study of discourse markers rose abroad in the 1980 s,it has become a hot topic in China in the 21 st century.In daily conversational communication,the discourse markers "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" has a high frequency of use,and plays a good role in the interactive communication between the two parties.At present,the study of discourse marker "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" is not really systematic.This dissertation takes the discourse marker Wo Gen Ni Shuo as the research object.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper mainly includes the following three aspects:In the first chapter,according to the academic consensus on some characteristics of discourse markers,the characteristics of "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" are described from "pronunciation,syntax,semantics,pragmatics style and form" in the first chapter."Wo Gen Ni Shuo," the phonetic features can be recognized,the syntactic position is flexible and changeable,the semantic features take the procedural semantics as the core semantics,the useful functions are abundant,the style is mainly spoken,and there are many variants in the morphological features.We use descriptive method to describe the characteristics of "Wo Gen Ni Shuo".In the second chapter,according to Halliday’s “three meta-function theory” and other scholars’ research on discourse markers function,we analyze the three aspects which are discourse function,interpersonal function and interactive function of "Wo Gen Ni Shuo ".In terms of discourse function,we analyze the discourse markers from the perspective of modal coherence and content coherence,from the perspective of turn and topic," Wo Gen Ni Shuo".In the aspect of interpersonal function,we based on the large corpus and TV series transliteration,on the basis of the semantic content of the introduced discourse,we find that the tag has the functions of emphasizing notification,declarative notification,imperative notification,warning notification and so on..In the aspect of interactive function,we combine the politeness principle in conversational analysis,and analyze "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" from the "honesty" and "closeness" expressed by the conversationalist in the interaction.In the third chapter,Mainly from the lexicalization and the grammaticalization,the language environment,the interaction subjectivization three aspects discusses "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" the evolution mechanism and the motive.The process of "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" is that "Wo Gen",which is composed of the subject "Wo" and the verb phrase "Gen",is easily subjective from the meaning of action to the meaning of modality.In conclusion,we think that the format evolved from a complete clause structure,which proves that discourse markers are the regularization of discourse components used at high frequency.The innovation of this paper lies in the general study of discourse marker "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" from a systematic point of view,and functional Linguistics,sociolinguistic theory,cognitive linguistics and conversation analysis of "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" from different angles,which uses sociolinguistics,that is conversational analysis.The deficiency is that we can examine "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" from more angles,and we can also explore the relationship between "Wo Gen Ni Shuo" and other discourse markers.
