At the turn of the century,the emerging higher vocational education has cultivated a large number of technology applied talents for the socialist construction in China,which become an important part of higher education in China.Although we are vigorously advocating quality education and humanistic quality improvement of college students,there is a certain degree of utilitarian in the schooling philosophy of most of higher vocational colleges in China and they put too much emphasis on the cultivation of professional skills but ignore the humanistic quality education."Literature appreciation",as an elective course combines aesthetics and creativity,can help college students to improve their aesthetic taste and humanistic quality,some higher vocational colleges are also strengthening the students’ cultural literacy education by offering "Literature appreciation" course.In this context,how to strengthen the "Literature appreciation" curriculum construction and give full play to its potential function in cultivation of humanistic quality among college students has become an important topic in front of researchers.Based on this,with construction of the elective course of "literature appreciation" in higher vocational colleges as the object of study and based on the comprehensive application of mature theories such as pedagogy,curriculum theory and teaching theory,this paper first introduces the research background from the macro,meso and micro perspectives,describes the concept of literature elective courses,elective courses and curriculum construction on the basis of combing the relevant literature,puts forward the theoretical support for higher vocational colleges to offer "literary appreciation" as an elective course and analyzes the importance and necessity of offering "literary appreciation" as an elective course in higher vocational colleges.Secondly,with the "literary appreciation" elective course in C vocational college as the case,it carries out a field research and makes full use of questionnaire survey to analyze the situation of the "literary appreciation" elective course construction in C vocational college.Finally,this paper analyses the existing problems and causes of “literary appreciation” in higher vocational colleges,and puts forward the countermeasure suggestions for "literary appreciation" elective course construction in higher vocational colleges from five aspects,namely,teachers,teaching content,teaching methods,teaching materials construction and examination,with the hope of being able to provide new ideas for "literary appreciation" elective course construction in higher vocational colleges in China. |
