Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of emergency operation and selective operation, observe the symptoms and signs of patients after operation, and verify the clinical efficacy of Gu's fumigation-washing and posted apply therapy inperioperative period. Methods: From January 2018 to January 2019,patients with incarcerated hemorrhoids were diagnosed and treated by Anorectal Department of Longhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They were randomly divided into emergency operation group(35 cases)and selective operation group(35 cases).Emergency operation group underwent emergency operation within 24 hours, selective operation group underwent surgery within 3-7days.During perioperative period,Danqing prescription was used for fumigation and washing,Xiaozhi ointment was applied to the affected area twice a day.The main therapeutic indicators of the two groups were pain score, and the secondary therapeutic indicators included postoperative edema, bleeding, exudation, quality of life, operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume, wound healing time and so on.Before treatment,at the first day,the third day,the seventh day,the fourteenth day,the twenty-first day and after wound healing, all the indexes were evaluated. Results: There were differences in pain, hemorrhage and edema between the two groups, but there were no significant differences in exudation, quality of life, operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume and wound healing time.(1)Pain score: Atthe 1st,3rd and 7th days after operation, the pain in emergency operation group was more severe than that in selective operation group(P< 0.05),but at 14 th and 21 st days, there was no significant difference between the two groups.(2)Edema score: At the 1st,3rd and 7th days after operation, the edema in emergency operation group was more obvious than that in selective operation group(P< 0.05),but there was no significant difference at the 14 th and 21 st days.(3)Bleeding score: At the 3rd day after operation, the bleeding in emergencyoperation group was more obvious than that in selective operation group(P< 0.05),but there was no significant difference at the 1st,7th,14 th and 21 st days.(4)There was no significant difference in exudation, quality of life, operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume and healing time(P > 0.05).Conclusion: The effect of selective operation group is more significant than that of emergency operation group in terms of pain, bleeding and edema after operation. In the choice of operation time for Incarcerated Hemorrhoids patients,in order to reduce the related complications after operation, selective operation can be preferred.
