Due to the increasing pressure of human survival, poor lifestyles, and serious environmental pollution, the morbidity and mortality caused by cancer in China have increased year by year, and cancer patients have also become younger and more complicated.Cancer seriously affects people's life health and quality of life.It not only causes physical pain and reduces life expectancy, but also causes pessimism such as anxiety, depression and disappointment. These adverse emotions affect the patient and further increase the patient's physical burden. The advancement of modern medicine has made breakthrough progress in oncology.Effective treatment has prolonged the life of patients and greatly improved the chance of cure. But while the body is being treated, the mental needs of the patients are often not taken seriously. In the process of treatment, the patient's emotions and psychology should also be paid attention to,so the intervention of medical social workers is required. In order to explore the effects of stress relief services in reducing the insomnia, anxiety, depression and other unhealthy emotions of cancer patients, the author launched a coming together and fighting together" medical social work service project in the Tumor Radiotherapy Department of S Hospital of Jiangxi Province and the Hospital Social Work Department. This service project was carried out 6 times, and a total of 27 people were served. This project mainly uses open-group work to provide professional stress relief services for cancer patients. The purpose is to relieve patients' stress, vent their emotions, and regain their confidence in life. Before the group started, the author first adopted the form of open group work based on the characteristics of patients with high mobility;secondly, the author made some additions, deletions, and changes based on factors such as the patient's knowledge reserve and mental state.During the development of this group, for the strong mobility of the group members, the author designed corresponding countermeasures, that is,the method of self-introduction and interactive games before each activity started to improve the feelings of the group members, and at the same time promote the patients in Communication in the daily life of the department to form a stablesupport network.Six group activities deepened the feelings among the group members, improved the patient's bad mood, and increased the patient's confidence in the treatment.Through the development of this group activity, the author believes that it is necessary and effective for medical social workers to intervene in the service of cancer patients.Secondly, due to the special mobility of hospital patients, changing the traditional closed group into an open group is an important work method that should be advocated in the practice field of medical social workers. In this group work, due to insufficient staffing, social workers often play multiple roles, and multiple roles will lead to data deviations. Therefore,I believe that social workers should play a single role.At the same time, the author believes that the development of medical social workers is already a trend of social development in China,so increasing the training of social workers in the central and national regions and creating social jobs should also be on the agenda in China.
